Making a Malaysian favourite - sardine and cucumber sandwiches. This was the first dish we learnt how to make in Home Science class in Malaysia. My version uses Ayam sardines (oval can), but instead of chilli padi and onion I used finely cut habanero chilli and chives. Balanced the flavour using lime and a bit of sugar.
