Hunter Valley trip - Hunter Valley Gardens

Wandering around the gardens relatively rain-free

We decided to visit Hunter Valley Gardens. The weather forecast was 100% rain, so not too many people visiting. We wore hiking boots, and braved it. In the end there was only the occasional drizzle. Here is the Italian Grotto and Brokenback Brumbles.

We walked around the beautiful Oriental Garden and Lakes walk. It is good to walk around without bumping into other tourists.

I love the Storybook Garden - so many opportunities to pose with fairytale characters!

After that, we explored the rest of Hunter Valley Gardens, including the rides, the Sunken Garden, Chinese Garden, Indian Garden, Formal Garden, Rose Garden and Border Garden.
