Burning Mountain

Walking the Burning Mountain Nature Reserve trail. This is an underground coal seam fire that has been burning for 5500 years - the Waranuah people called it Wingen. The fire is about 30m below ground and moves about 1m a year.

After that we had lunch in Scone and did a stopover at Hunter Belle Dairy Co. for some cheese.

We then had an afternoon of fun playing pool, swimming in the pool, completing a jigsaw puzzle and ending with a pizza and salad dinner.
