This is an Italian inspired Australian garden developed over the last twelve years on a sloping 5-acre site in East Bowral. Within a perimeter windbreak of Cyprus, interconnected lakes provide a source of water for a series of waterfalls along the highest part of the property. These fall through rills, springs, fountains and a grotto. Cleverly integrated rock work and lavish planting has created beautiful glades leading down to the lawns and terraces around the house. Large eucalypts have been retained while planting of woodlands of dogwood, maple, liquidamber, magnolia, rhododendron, lilac and rare conifers make this a garden of spectacular autumn colour and year-round interest.
